Fire Alarm upgrades

Euro Foods Group, a global food importer contracted Rhino Fire & Security Systems to upgrade their existing fire alarm system.

When: November 2021

Where: Newport, South Wales. UK

Why: Out-dated, faulty system

Work carried out: Our engineers carried out essential upgrades and repairs to provide improved protection throughout and to accommodate recent changes to the buildings use. Multiple large industrial freezers previously caused condensation creating watering ingress, damaging and voiding existing detection. Specialist ingress protection detectors were installed to prevent faults reoccurring while still providing fire detection in difficult environments. Sounder beacons were also selected due to high noise levels in various locations to provide visual alerts of fire activations should loud machinery be in use.

Should a fire be detected a central monitoring station is informed allowing them to act quickly in alerting the fire brigade.
